COMING SOON ~ JUICE

Juice
It's not pulp fiction. It's pulp fact.
Juice. What Juices us up? When we're squeezed by the pressures and demands of daily life, and numb to the problems of the world, what moves us from paralysis to passion?
BroadArts Theatre's upcoming comedy with music, written and composed by Melinda E. Pittman, enacts these questions through the lens of real people who have experienced a transfiguration. Talented actor-singers portray people who have been organized and radicalized and now give their talent to making a better world.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO GET JUICED UP? If you'd like to volunteer or learn more about the project, please contact BroadArts !
The image of JUICE conjures the inner essence of our souls. Like a juice machine, BroadArts massages our bruised skin, gently and surprisingly squeezing the passion fruits our hearts, coaxing inner resources loose. JUICE calls forth our personal passions and organizes our energy to produce positive change inside and outside, in our own lives and in our world.

JUICE Salons: In 2008, BroadArts will hosts a series of JUICE SALONS. Inspiring local activists will tell their stories, interspersed with newly developed JUICE songs and scenes. Each Salon includes a conversation with audience members about their observations and experiences. BroadArts is scheduled to open the musical play in late 2008. For locations for Salons and performances, please contact BroadArts Theatre.
JUICE Performances: BroadArts cast and production volunteers will be interviewing people whose story we've identified as sources for our musical play. Would you like to suggest a person who is one of your s/heroes?
